The Training Rim is a group of men and women who have become increasingly disenchanted with the alarmingly low standards in the fitness and exercise industry. Gym drop-out rates in the neighborhood of 70%, and marginally educated trainers charging exorbitant rates are sadly typical in today's exercise world. As a result, serious health issues have become commonplace in our society, many of them due to joint and/or obesity issues which are usually preventable through proper exercise technique.
As a group, we've decided to do something about it. We've formed a training facility that's based on getting the client RESULTS - period. We don't view personal training as a 4th or 5th "revenue stream" as gyms do, nor do we view it as a hobby or quick fix philosophy.
Getting you results is what we do. We've done it for a very long time, and we're exceedingly good at it. Check our testimonial page to hear it from those who know.
All training and programs are designed by Jon Rimmer.
Jon’s training methodologies are based on two things:
· Performing training that’s based on logic and/or is supported by research.
It must make sense to us from a bio-mechanical stand point before we do it. We never accept the status quo or do what the majority does just because the majority does it.
· We’ve tried it and it works.
We’ve put our theories to use for years with all kinds of clientele and it works. If a certain type of exercise elicits results, we’ll keep it and figure out new ways to integrate it into our training. If it doesn’t work, for any reason, we remove it from our programs. We constantly evolve our training to elicit the best results in the shortest period of time for the largest number of people.
