Testimonials

“When I started training with Jon, I thought I would lose pounds.  People would ask and I would say ‘No - I lost inches and gained tone, strength, energy and a drive to continue exercising.’  Training with Jon is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.  I received knowledge and experience on how to take care of my body.  I tell everyone who mentions working out or training to immediately see Jon - there’s no one better.  Time and time again I tried to place in a Miss America Preliminary and with his help I finally accomplished that goal - Thanks Jon!”

“I went to train with Jon to improve my explosiveness on the soccer field - we trained with various exercises including lots of lunges, speed ladder drills and lots of weighted movements.  I trained with Jon for 3 weeks and saw an increase in strength and speed immediately - even my coach noticed a difference.  I also became aware of precautions to consider when strength training that I wasn’t aware of prior to training with Jon.  Jon is truly a gifted trainer and real fun to be around!”

Nick Danna - Soccer, Notre Dame

“Jon is very knowledgable about training - his approach to fitness and training is logical and thorough while maintaining a simplicity that allows anyone to understand.  He’s passionate about what he does - I soon learned he’s very dedicated and committed to his clients’ success.  He takes the time to know his client an understand their needs - I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get into shape on any level.”

Xavier Chavez - Purple Belt, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

“After joining a gym I realized how out of shape I was the 1st time I attempted the reclined bike - I couldn’t ride it for two minutes without becoming out of breath.  To add insult to injury, I could barely impact the lowest weight setting on most of the equipment.  I decided I needed professional direction…

I began training with Melissa in September ‘07.  Under her direction the results I’ve achieved have been nothing short of amazing!  My core strength and stamina have increased dramatically and I have never physically looked or felt better.  I am truly in the best shape of my life - I couldn’t have obtained these results without Melissa’s expertise.”

“I’ve been working with Dina as my trainer for over a year now, and I must admit, depite all the strenuous workouts she puts me through (for which I usually have a few choice words), I could not be more pleased that she is my trainer.  Dina always seems to be prepared and never fails to come up with more challenging exercises for this “old and frail” body.  She’s obviously dedicated to what she does and is making a big difference for me in, as they say, “strengthening the core”.  I might never get to “six-pack abs”, but the effort she is putting me through is defintely seeing results.  Can’t wait to see what she’s going to put me through next - who knows, I might be able to challenge Jon!”

“Jon is a GEM!

He’s an incredible find among the sea of ineffective and improperly trained personal trainers popping up all over the place.  His energetic and motivating personality coupled with his superior knowledge of muscular skeletal anatomy and body mechanics make him my choice for a trainer.

During my collegiate basketball career I suffered a critical knee injury requiring reconstructive surgery and months of rehab.  I never regained full strength or stability - until I met Jon.

I have increased symetrical strength in my legs (which I haven’t had since before my injury).  My abs and butt are stronger than before and now make up the core of my strength and stability.  Jon is head and shoulders above all the trainers I’ve worked with - and I’ve had many.
